We draw on history
In real life, I was a corporate director, while in my private time, I was always interested in our common history. Mead was an integral and important part of the history that made Norway a kingdom. When Vidar won the Norwegian championship in mead in 2022 we put our heads together and founded Mythology – a meadcentric brewery with a focus on history, and natural resources.

Always a geek, always brewing, Vidar is the head brewer in Vikingr Mead. He spends most of his spare time concocting new recipes – or putting them into large brewing tanks. His first mead was set after a Viking market in 2012, as his wife , Medge ( See below ) was direct in her request ” You can make this better … get to it !!” … And he did …
These days Vidar is most often found in the brewery making one of our 3 staple meads, or inventing new magical concoctions ( also known as meads, of course )
In addition to making mead, Vidar is also a D&D hobbyist and a Fantasy miniature painter, a history geek and a Living History reenactor – of the Viking ages naturally.
